Review on ๐Ÿšฝ Durable Plastic Toilet: Built to Last 70,000 Flushes by Steve Hardy

Revainrating 3 out of 5

You get what you pay for when you buy this place.

I have to say that "frugal" means cheap and at $12 it's wondering why there are so many 5 star reviews. This replaced a wooden Church 540EC toilet seat we bought in 2014 for about the same price, but the paint was peeling under the seat when it was raised. The plastic seemed like a good idea as the color isn't stained and should be easier to clean. However, the seat does not reach the front of the toilet (see image); it doesn't sit flat on the rim of the toilet, so when you sit on it you can feel it leaning forward to reach the rim; and the hole is smaller than the previous seat, so it is more difficult to get in by hand than the previous seat. There are only two adults here so the toilet doesn't get much use, but this seat doesn't stay on the dresser below and is replaced with the church seat from the bathroom upstairs. The problem with the wooden seat was that the lid is heavy and if it slips out of my hand and slams against the seat I always expected the toilet to crack, but if you drop the lid on this one, screw it no worries about damage because it does. bright. With nearly 60-year-old toilet seats under me, I have to say I wasn't overly impressed with the many under $20, but the church was one of the best, although it needed some extra bumpers under the seat. because it's a bit bent. It's made in the USA but that doesn't make it a very good seat but for the price it's fine for casual use but I would have serious doubts if it would be suitable for everyday use and we had that on our journey. Follower. It's #7 on this site's best selling toilet seat list so I'm guessing it's the price because it definitely can't be because it's a great seat. If you're looking to keep your cheeks off the cold china, this does the trick, but I can't say it does much more than good. It looks great and, like most other seats, installs with a few plastic nuts and bolts. I tested samples at the home center and even the more expensive seats didn't seem much better.
