Works as expected with one small issue.

Works just like a toilet seat. Installation was easy and quick. However, I don't like it when the seat is completely closed and using it as a temporary seat because something moves in the lid. As if there wasn't enough filling in it. I'm not a heavyweight by any means, but I do feel the seat gives a certain "concavity" when sitting in it. It doesn't matter as it doesn't happen to the ring when it's put on, just with the lid on and it keeps its shape when I take it off. But I don't spend much…

That's a great seat!

What can I say, I upgraded my toilet seat to this toilet seat for $12.70. My last one was $4.99 from Home D, it lasted 5 years and was downright gross because our little boys had urinated on it for the last 5 years and it was one of those MDF ones so yeah its horrible to clean . With all that overpriced crap it's a good buy for a great price and much more comfortable than the previous seat. I fell like a toilet seat is something I don't want to spend a lot of money on and I'm glad I found it…

Great value says Made in USA

I was looking for an inexpensive, easy to install and clean toilet seat rental. I didn't have very high expectations as I was mainly looking for cheap. It was less than $12 and just as good as the $20 spots at the larger stores. I was expecting thinner seats and was pleasantly surprised. The photos posted by other reviewers showing it was about 1/4 inch smaller than the rim of the round toilet are accurate, it fits mine exactly the same. But I didn't find such a big problem. I hand tightened…

Plastic seat for porcelain throne.

i don't know what to say about this toilet seat, except that you don't sit directly on cold dishes when making a bail. In that regard, it's the best ever. It installs easily with the included hardware and a Phillips screwdriver (just to hold the large plastic screws in place while you tighten the wing nuts underneath). It's holding up great despite being used in the only bathroom of a family of 2, one of whom is a woman working from home and drinks way too much water during the day. The lid is…

Need a good toilet seat? To hell with Chinese cheap shit!

After buying 2 cheap Chinese toilet seats which are broken and flimsy I said oh my goodness let's see what's available on Amazon. Luckily, I saw this option and took the risk, and it actually paid off. The quality is obviously better, the toilet seat is made of durable and thick plastic including the lid which is super fragile on cheap models. If you are renting an apartment or have guest bathrooms or a shop this is a must. Also, they're a dollar less than the Chinese ones I live in. Also, the…

Great replacement for our 16 year old Olsonite toilet seat

When we moved into our new house in 2005 it had plastic Olsonite toilet seats. We like them because they are easy to clean and comfortable. A few years ago all three had a tear in the middle of the back seat. We've used them so far - functionally they were good, but they just looked ugly. Well I finally thought it was time to replace them. I found out that Olsonite was bought by Bemis in 2005, so I bought their Revain plastic seats. In general I am satisfied. PROS: 1. Plastic seats are…

You get what you pay for when you buy this place.

I have to say that "frugal" means cheap and at $12 it's wondering why there are so many 5 star reviews. This replaced a wooden Church 540EC toilet seat we bought in 2014 for about the same price, but the paint was peeling under the seat when it was raised. The plastic seemed like a good idea as the color isn't stained and should be easier to clean. However, the seat does not reach the front of the toilet (see image); it doesn't sit flat on the rim of the toilet, so when you sit on it you can…
