Great replacement for our 16 year old Olsonite toilet seat

When we moved into our new house in 2005 it had plastic Olsonite toilet seats. We like them because they are easy to clean and comfortable. A few years ago all three had a tear in the middle of the back seat. We've used them so far - functionally they were good, but they just looked ugly. Well I finally thought it was time to replace them. I found out that Olsonite was bought by Bemis in 2005, so I bought their Revain plastic seats. In general I am satisfied. PROS: 1. Plastic seats are comfortable for all of us. My wife likes it, me too. We're of average height and weight, so we didn't feel any "flex" when seated.2. Easy installation. They were the same as Olsonite.3. The quality is very good. The thickness of the seat was the same as that of olsonite. So we were glad to see it. The quality of the plastic itself was strong and durable.4. The price is great. At $13.28, this is a good choice if you don't need any other additional features. CONS: 1. As some others have commented, it's a bit short at the end. About 1/4 inch shorter than my Olsonite. However, this does not affect the functionality. As for that, I can accept it. 2. The color doesn't quite match our toilet. It's white, but matte white. , one small issue and I'm fine with that as my family doesn't notice (if I tell them they'll see it I won't! LOL) Overall for the price I'm happy with it. Good company and at my school where I work we use Bemis toilet seats and they have impressed me. So if you are looking for something simple, functional, inexpensive, good quality and no extra features then consider this product. Recommended!
