Review on 🚰 Doulton W9361123 Stainless Gravity Sterasyl: Superior Filtering Power for Clean and Pure Drinking Water by Josh Allen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Tasty water. Looks good on the counter. Expensive.

I finally broke down and decided to buy a gravity fed stainless steel feed water filtration system. Still, I got the cheaper one, even though these stainless steel appliances are all overpriced. I have a feeling what you get (just a pair of drilled stainless steel drums plus 2 filters for almost $300) is insane. I was expecting something more complex, but it's easy to set up, although the pivot gave me a little trouble. I bought a stainless steel spigot from the start to keep the device looking solid and I didn't want to mess with plastic. It turned out to be a leak and I had to empty everything and start over which was painful. Maybe not the fault of the water supply system. In the end everything was in place - the nozzle was tightened with a wrench, not "hand tight" so there are no leaks and now I finally have the water I've been waiting for. Some kind of filtering is necessary on the well.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
