I've never been a big fan of Otterbox cases, having used them on my old iPhone 4s. The old bowls didn't seem to hold up very well. the rubber broke after a short time. I've decided to return to Otterbox for my iPhone 7 Plus, mainly because I need a case when I'm working outside to keep dust and dirt out of my ports. Otterbox seems to be the only company (to date) that makes a decent protective case for the 7 Plus at a reasonable price. When I received this case, I immediately removed my old case and installed Defender. My first impressions are pretty good. The installation went as expected since Defender hasn't changed much over the years. Although they appear to be made of higher quality materials. The case feels very solid and seems well suited for outdoor activities. The included belt clip is thick and good for hard work. So far my only complaint is the color choice, which is sorely lacking.
