Our year-old pitbull mix, Murphy, loves to destroy destroy toys and we hadn't found anything that could stand up to his jaws. We were excited to get this toy thinking that it would last at least a few weeks. Murphy was so excited when we pulled the ring out and he pranced around squeaking it for a long time. In the end, though, the toy only lasted for about a week before we had to throw it out.Pros:The dog loved it.It's large enough to play tug-of-war without losing a finger.There are a lot of squeakers that the dog loved but that weren't so loud that they were annoying.Lasted longer than other toys that we've had.Cons:It might be too big for a lot of dogs (ours is about 60 lbs and it was bordering on too big for him).Our dog was able to start splitting the stitches within about an hour.Although the tags say that there's no stuffing, it is full of fluff that ended up all over the floor.Overall, this is probably a great toy for a dog that likes to chew but isn't intent on destroying toys. Given the price and how long it lasted, however, we won't be buying another one for Murphy.
