I really wanted to like it. I noticed that it was made by a small company in Ocala, Florida and I live near that location. I've also been using a few drops of orange essential oil on my toothbrush (with toothpaste) for a number of years and it has completely healed my sensitive, sore, bleeding gums. I had high hopes for this product. Unfortunately, it burned my mouth and lips quite badly. I was in severe pain for about 30 minutes and my lips were very dry. I followed the product's directions which consisted of shaking the bottle and applying a few drops directly to the toothbrush (not toothpaste) and avoiding rinsing, eating and drinking after brushing. It hurt too much, too much to be normal. Granted, I have very sensitive skin, so it probably works well for normal people. I know there are conflicting opinions about glycerin and whether it damages tooth enamel. I have read the opinions of both sides and it is very difficult to say which side is right. Perhaps it would be better to omit this ingredient altogether, especially since the front of the bottle says they are 100% essential oils. It has a really great smell, although spearmint stands out.
