After using those thin no skid pads and ending up with rugs that wore out too quickly, this thick felt with rubber pad was a great find! While clearing out the old rug and pad I was amazed at the dirt and debris which passed right through the rug and thin net-like pad, yuck! This one feels great underfoot and makes our new rug feel so much nicer. There is no way that a pad like this would squinch up under the rug and get lost either. The pad is heavy - best done with 2 people if you buy a large one. If you have been using those thin net-like pads, you won’t believe the difference - super comfy!
