I use the crossbody function the most and it makes longer walks SO great! In addition to walking, hiking and running with my pup have also been great. Also it’s getting colder and having hands free allows you to put your hands in your pocket! The picture that shows the ways you use it has the only ways to wear it. You cannot wear it around your waist unless you are extremely small (if even). I actually like the crossbody style better. Highly recommend!
