I got my router a few days ago and I have to say it was the quickest and easiest setup I've ever done. A minute later I had Wi-Fi. Connection to computer I downloaded the app to my phone and set up a password and account. It makes things a lot easier if there is open wifi before setup. The app has most of the settings, but I accessed the router via a browser to turn off the wifi for the night and set which channels each band should run on. I did not see such an option in the application. The speed is fantastic. I have a 2600 square foot house and it's spread all over the place. Even on a flash drive farthest from the router, I was able to stream 4K content with download speeds in excess of 100MB. See picture with blue screen. Tried using VPN, no problem. Netflix showed a 60 megabit connection on another device. Connect multiple phones, tablets, laptops and streaming devices. Even the Tapo cam is always on. There are no failures and no complaints. I wish there was a way to just turn off the 5G band overnight and not just both bands like I could with TP-Link, but maybe that will happen in future releases. The first picture shows where I have it, it's a room with a computer surrounded by walls. Next comes the first WiFi PC test. Big! Then on the other lane. In the last photo, my speed from the phone in another room. Unbelievable! Hopefully the performance never changes. First time with this brand and couldn't be happier.
