Review on 6 Pack Non Polarity Festoon Interior Compartmen by Gerson Lagerquist

I just got them in the mail and did what I do with ALL LED bulbs I buy: I put them on a test bench to see how much electricity they really use Most product descriptions are inaccurate. This is the first time an inaccurate description has actually gone the other way. They list them as 0.5 watts each, but I've verified they're around 1.5 watts. For a batch of 6 bulbs, there will be slight differences, but the bulbs are usually in the 1.4-1.6W range. It's great. Bright enough, but power consumption is very low. It's true that all the LEDs point in the same direction, but it's actually better for the application. I'm going to use it as a third brake light on the RV body and want the light to only go one way. Many people put them back to back when they need two-way light. I tried this and it works very well. It also helps that they are two-pin, so it doesn't matter which side you connect to the + and which side to the terminal. However, if I was putting them back-to-back all the time, I'd probably run duct tape between them just to make sure something didn't accidentally short out. But that's just me. In general I am very satisfied. If they stall prematurely I'll update the rating, otherwise assume they're still working fine :-)
