I put off installing surround speakers in my basement because I didn't want to pay for expensive speakers. I've been eyeing these speakers for a while and the reviews were actually pretty good so I decided to give it a try as even low quality surround sound is better than no surround sound. To add to the selling point, I just bought an Acoustic Audio subwoofer amp for two other subwoofers and they sound great. The price was the final blow. Once installed they sounded very good with a Yamaha active subwoofer which I bought 15+ years ago in a boxed 5.1 home cinema and a fairly new Sony amp ten years ago. I can't give 5 stars for the sound quality as I'm not entirely sure what 5 stars sounds like, but I can't really complain about my setup now, especially since I paid less than $500 for everything. grilling. Pulling them out was a bit of a problem as they are very tight against the speaker. It was almost impossible to put them back in place as they have to line up perfectly with the inside of the circular speaker from all sides. I would buy again.
