you really need a micro sd for this to work well. It can capture or take pictures from your phone's screen (stored locally on your phone), but many other features require a micro SD card. It's pretty inexpensive. The picture quality works, the sound quality is ok, I would say it disconnects from the phone app too many times, but you just press one button and it reconnects. Overall it gives me some peace of mind that if we hire a babysitter I can check in and make sure everything is going well. I'll probably get another one so I'd say it's good value for money.
