This is one of the advantages that these diapers offer. The interior layer has a lovely and pleasantly soft surface, but it has the texture of a man-made material. I am already purchasing them for my second child, and I have no reason to believe that the quality would ever decrease. However, it does not become a lump in the space between the legs, so that's good! Even though the drawings are adorable, I really prefer the older style to the more recent one. Because of the pricing, I am able to "fly" through the diapers at the speed of light, which makes me extremely happy. Cons: They only last for approximately two to three hours, and you need to change them frequently or else they will become wet. The scent is unpleasant to me, and even if a youngster was responsible for making the pip, the whole thing has a radioactive aroma.
