I type a lot for work and prefer brown keyboards with switches. I'm not a professional typist, but I type about 6 hours a day and I can type about 80 words per minute. This E-Yooso Z-88 brown switch keyboard isn't the worst I've ever used, but it's not the best either. Outemu's brown switches feel a little boring here. The characteristic tactile bump is present, as expected, but keystrokes aren't exactly smooth. There's a subtle scratchy feel that adds resistance where it shouldn't be. Some keys feel loose and the large keys are almost crunchy. While this keyboard isn't very loud or clicky, it doesn't sound as pleasant as my other brown Switch keyboards. Maybe something in the material of the cap or in the base of the keyboard itself. It's impossible not to compare this keyboard to the Redragon K556. I have both They're nearly identical, right down to the style of the logo above the arrow keys. I can't tell them apart across the room when they're sitting next to each other. Prices are within $10 of each other. You get the same LED effects and looks. The only physical difference is that the E-Yooso has a detachable USB port on the base (which is a nice feature). While both should be Outemu brown, the keystrokes are smoother and more precise, as is the brown switch. like on Redragon versus E-Yooso. It's an excellent typing experience that's immediately noticeable as you use one keyboard at a time. There's no competition between the two, and it's well worth spending a few extra bucks on a Redragon.
