Make sure you choose the lowest LED density strip you need as they are very bright and can draw a lot of current. We recommend applying power (both POWR and GND) about every 100 LEDs. Otherwise, a gradual transition from white to yellow was observed. Also make sure you solder the power connections or use reliable wire connectors. We used part of a 200 LED strip and tested it for more than 1 hour at a time. The 5V 5A PSU was hot but didn't cause an overload while the 5V 10A PSU was just warm. The data sheet does not specify a maximum current consumption. Some unreliable sources mention 60mA when white is set to full brightness. However, we observed only half of this stream. Nervous, when the current is multiplied by the number of LEDs, it's very significant. The adhesive material is unreliable. I had to use glue. The tape is made of heat resistant plastic so wires can be soldered directly to the cut end of the tape. It's easy to solder.
