Small; does the job; EDID emulation works
I bought this KVM to connect a 4k@30Hz monitor between a Displayport laptop and an HDMI laptop (for work and home, both with Windows 10). share. I leave my email application open on the primary display and extend the display to a second monitor. I needed an inexpensive Displayport -> HDMI adapter to connect a Displayport laptop. Because the dynamic EDID emulation works when I toggle KVM, any windows that are on the extended display stay there and are still there when I toggle back. My only minor complaint is that the toggle hotkey (scroll lock, scroll lock, 1 or 2) is less convenient than the one (scroll lock, scroll lock, up arrow) supported by some other KVMs .
