Review on 50 Strong 24oz BPA-Free Reusable Water Bottle with Time Marker - Tequila-Inspired by Lisa Frank

First of all, I love the cute little picture on the water bottle and the strap is convenient to carry with you. I find time markers extremely useful for keeping track of my daily water intake. And that's where the positives end. This water bottle leaks like CRAZY! I always keep a paper towel handy and would press the paper towel against the colored ring that was supposed to act as a watertight seal when I had a drink because the water would spill out and make a mess. I've tried screwing the lid on so tightly that I can barely get it off by gently tightening it, as there is such a thing as over-tightening and everything in between, but the colored ring that attaches to the wrist strap does NOT actually do the job of closing the lid . Water bottle and water comes out every time. I still use it because I love the visuals and accountability of time markers, but I'm using it less and less because it's so messy and requires so much extra work to keep water from getting everywhere. I thought of cutting off the ring and sticking it into the cap so it would fit snugly on top of the bottle (like other big brands that actually seal) but I don't really want to ruin it completely plus it would remove the lanyard . If you want something sweet and don't worry if your hands/stuff are covered in water, bring a bottle. If like me you prefer to keep your drink in a container, this probably isn't a good choice for you. You have a great idea, you just have to work hard to implement it.
