This review turned out to be a lot more complicated than I thought it would be. I've had these wipes for a few months now. To reduce waste and chemicals in our household, I've made many changes to the products we use. These towels have a great waffle structure and absorb small dirt particles. But if you like an absorbent cleaning cloth, this isn't it. This is what happens when the rag is dry, it smudges any moisture that is on the surface. Luckily I spray a small amount that dries quickly. The surface is rubbed well, the detergent spreads, but the fabric absorbs almost nothing. If you soak the washcloth in the sink first, it will not only smear the cleaner but also add extra moisture to the surface. Sometimes it's too much to just air dry and I have to use another towel to wipe away the excess moisture. So we still use these things and they save us real paper towels, but my boyfriend hates them and I feel like I put more effort into working with them than doing them any good. After all, they clean my house and that was the main goal. They are also very easy to machine wash and hold up well to weekly washing and drying.
