I was looking for larger aquarium rocks to replace the substrate in my 55 gallon aquarium. It was the best value for money. It was very easy to clean and the stones are very smooth. Our fish happily feed on the current fine substrate so we needed larger rocks to replace them. We currently have new stones in media bags while we wait for the bacteria to regrow. I'll probably need another 18lb box to completely fill the bottom of the tank, but preference is how high I'd like it to go. I really like these and can't wait to completely replace the substrate.
