Rough edges, difficult to assemble

Assembly was agonizing because the screws didn't go straight in and I had to remove a lot of screws because the later piece of wood didn't fit properly. , so the other board had to be loosened so they could be put on. Assembled not as nice as in the picture. There are gaps because the screws literally didn't go straight in. Looks ok but the wood is rough and my markers and pencils stick out a lot further than in the photo. I wanted a cleaner look. Should have looked at the reviews. Oh well. But a big plus: discreet solid wood.
