Purchased this for use for flat metal areas on a hitch mount bicycle rack. It seems to work satisfactorily for this application. However, I went to use it on the carbon fiber blades of my kayak wing paddle, and despite surface prep with alcohol and acetone, the tape lifts immediately. Contact with water only speeds this process, unlike other name brand reflective tapes I’ve used. The adhesive is poor, and the stiffness of the white prismatic backing does not allow it to conform well to even mildly curved surfaces. Additionally, attempting to peel away the clear plastic backing covering the adhesive has the white prismatic material lifting away from the red as well. Going to source outa higher quality tape.
