This is by far the finest sandpaper I've ever used. I'm in the process of sanding a mahogany deck and have just started. I ran out and bought Diablo sandpaper from Home Depot. It started falling apart almost immediately, which surprised me a lot because I love Diablo saws. Then I went to Lowe and bought Gator sandpaper and it was about the same as Diablo. Honestly, I can sand eight times longer with Shopsmith sandpaper and it doesn't tear. I think the abrasive is held onto a thick epoxy coating on a high quality substrate. Honestly there is no comparison.
