There is a left and a right.
There were no instructions in my delivery, but you just have to make sure that you use the correct left and right handles. The photos show a 1/2 head and a 6mm hex wrench. Very easy to install and convenient to get on and off. I have a 2010 Wrangler Sahara and it's perfect for the factory floor.
