I'm going to buy a Sony or Canon 4K camcorder. I have had my own YouTube channel for many years and I want to upgrade all my gear including the monitor. The monitor that replaces this one isn't 4K or 1080p. So this little 4K monitor is a huge upgrade to what I have now. Here's what I like about this monitor: It's a touchscreen, which I don't have. It has a built-in rechargeable battery, so there is no need to change it, and it is portable. It comes with a case to close it and protect your screen and device. Screw mounts on the side and bottom for versatile mounting options. Super bright image quality. Various modes are available at the touch of a button on the screen. This is especially useful on very bright days. Comes with an AC adapter to power it up and charge the internal battery. Comes with a movable bracket. However, I used mine that I already had and connected to it quickly. What I don't like about it: The power adapter cable is quite short, only about a meter. Not a deal killer since I separated it from the large battery on a tripod. There is no canopy to protect you from the sun on sunny days. However, I already have one, I just need to velcro the sides of this monitor and it fits because my hood is the exact same size. Summary: This monitor is packed with features, some of which I don't know if I'll ever use. It can be used to control what you record or play videos. My current monitor is not playing video. Overall I am very impressed with this monitor and very glad I found it at Revain.
