This is my first monitor and wow! What a huge difference replacing the small flip screen Canon M50. Initially I had a few issues connecting HDMI with the cable that came with it, but the connections may just need to be looped through. Now the supplied cable works perfectly. I bought a longer cable to have more room for camera placement, but the cable was defective. His replacement works perfectly. Very often loses signal. Decent screen if it actually works. But that's rare. Bad support.

Very disappointed with this screen and support. I would advise you to look at other options. Here's the breakdown. The screen is pretty heavy. Battery performance is average, but far from what is advertised. The touchscreen is reasonably responsive, but the menus are unwieldy. You really have to use the buttons when browsing the menu as the touchscreen isn't precise enough. BUT it doesn't matter as the screen loses signal after almost every shot. Ultra clear 4K display with amazing battery life 😃

I have a 7 inch Elvis 4K monitor but it's quite bulky and if you have to carry aftermarket Sony batteries you have to carry them, when you're filming more weight. Strange wording on the packaging, otherwise it's a BEAST!

UPDATE: 4/3/20 So I wanted to make sure I was thinking right about everything I was seeing, so I contacted the company and asked about the screen resolution and 4K. I found the answers I was looking for and they answered me very quickly. The screen has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 and any 4K signal that hits the screen is downsampled to 1920 x 1200 so it can be seen on the screen. So technically it's not a 4K screen.
