Leather and buckle quality are very good as expected from this brand. My problem was related to installation difficulties. I bought this because it was one of the rare dark brown and gold buckle combo straps. So I bought this with trepidation knowing it wasn't a quick release group. My fears have come true. It was difficult to insert into the lugs of the watch and very difficult to remove. I needed a strap that I could change to fit my shoes and belt. This item is more like a permanent fixture. Changing the strap frequently can damage the watch strap and lugs. So I returned it. If you're not going to use it as a permanent attachment, buy a quick release strap instead.
