It's quite warm. I wear it when I go to work or do astrophotography in the winter where I live. However, it doesn't fit my nose properly. When I wear it, a slit appears around my cheeks and it feels like it breaks my nose. After prolonged use, I have to stick my nose out in the cold just to recover from being crushed. The mouth area gets cold from moisture, but there really isn't much you can do about it. .The fact that a hat is optional (you can hang freely behind your head) is actually a good thing, especially on days when it's cold to breathe, but not so bad that the whole head is covered. everything, i still wear it but i plan to buy something else.
