I bought the more expensive brand K--n first. But my soles are sensitive and the non-slip insole in Kn shoes was annoying (I had the same problem with T-va) because the insole is ridged and uneven - that's probably why you don't slip when the shoes are wet are . But these brands hurt my feet.) Instead I tried these cheaper ATIKA shoes and was very satisfied! They are very light. The insole has become smoother, does not irritate. I have narrow feet but they can be adjusted by pulling the drawstring. You can make them pretty tight, but I've found that I prefer to pull them loose. With my SmartWool socks they are ideal for cool days. They work for any foot width. I wear a size 8.5 in regular shoes and a size 9 in sneakers, so I bought a size 9 in khaki. The length is great. Since I bought them I wear them everywhere which is a sign of a good shoe. . . the ones you don't want to shoot! Immediately after unpacking, I subjected it to the ultimate test. Long walk with a friend on the street and beyond. No pain points! They don't keep my feet warm. Very happy with this purchase and I bought another pair before they ran out. Update 2021: I've been wearing them for a year now and they're still holding up. I wash them in the washing machine and put them in the sun to dry and they are like new!
