I wanted this case because I was tired of taking the whole case off my phone to use moto mods. Before that I bought another bumper housing and it was of poor design and workmanship. This case is great. It fits well, all cutouts and buttons are in the right places and well shaped. I was also able to use the original Moto backplate that came with my phone to protect the pins that the mods use to interact with the phone. No other case I've bought has allowed me to hold it in place, most just have an open hole exposing the contacts, but you can't use mods without completely removing them from the phone. All my mods fit perfectly into the existing case with no issues affecting their functionality (no button/vent cover). There is a small notch in the case to remove mods and it works well even for people with big hands. The case protects the phone well. The edges are raised slightly above screen height, and the sides around the phone are thick enough to protect it without making the phone bulky in hand or too tight in your pocket. There are small protrusions on the sides to make it easier to grip the phone, but it's not childproof lol. My phone has been dropped on concrete from about 4 to 5 feet about 4 times with no damage to the phone or case. I have a glass screen protector which we all know protects the screen well but comes at a cost. My screen protector is still in perfect condition after falling. I'm not advocating dropping your phone, but if you're prone to it like me, chances of your phone surviving are pretty good. This case is great and the price makes it even better. Fit, functionality and aesthetics all as it should be, shipping was fast. Overall I think it's a solid value.
