We used to have velcro paddles and the problem was always that it was very difficult to get the ball off the velcro. But it's great! The ball sticks to the Velcro but is not difficult to tear off, so you can throw it back. I ordered a second one so we had enough for a three-player game. Even younger children can play with them as they are very easy to use. Some other brands are difficult to handle for younger children.
