This cutter works very well for the money. I've only tried 20lb carbon paper. There really are no instructions. One thing I found is that you may need to move the first adjustable piece with the knob you hold close to the adjustable point to make it easier to move. You may need to hold the paper with your other hand to keep it from curling. The compartment with additional blades is also difficult to open. There is an arrow that makes you think you have to push it, but I had to use a knife to snap the lid and open it. All in all, for $7 it works very well.
