4 stars for what it is and what it is. A tool of such quality that allows the DIY enthusiast to remove and install motorcycle chains at a very reasonable price. This tool isn't a shop quality tool for everyday use, but for the price, it's nothing like either of them. I deducted a star because the tool doesn't come with any instructions at all. Fortunately, there are many videos on YouTube on how to use this type of tool. I highly recommend that you have a digital caliper to measure the head of the rivet before and after the head is formed and compare to the chain manufacturer's recommendations to ensure you get a well formed head that won't let you down leaves. When pressing link plates and shaping the rivet head, I recommend doing this slowly, gradually and with control. If you don't do this, you can make the connection too tight and have to replace it with a new one.
