This remote works. It s cheap. Attractively priced. I struggled with the battery cover for 20 minutes until it "kinda" popped up after inserting 3 AAs. Rechargeable AA batteries are sometimes slightly larger in diameter than regular batteries. So I took them out and put 3 Duracells in. nope No difference. The remote control is bent, the back cover of the battery compartment is also bent. After inserting the batteries, you need to align the tabs on the cover and then slide them into place to lock the cover at all four corners. Easier said than done. I would level the bottom but the top or sides would be pushed apart. Since it's curved, it's very important that you "push and squeeze" it to keep everything aligned. Bottom line: cheaply and terribly made. But it will control your Samsung. Next time I'll spend more or buy a REAL one at auction.
