Wanted to try chalk for a while to help with bulkier lifts, mostly in rows. I have small hands and wrists so my grip has always been an issue. It really helps, and since you can easily toss it in your bag, it's also portable. It's still pretty messy, so if your gym doesn't like chalk for that reason, I'd go down the liquid chalk route. For a more relaxed gym or home gym, this works great. I don't feel like I'm wasting chalk either, I get a nice layer on both hands that doesn't result in a bunch of extra chalk scouring everything (some for sure, but not as much as loose chalk).
