This is a beautiful and very functional lightweight Chromebook. Unfortunately I can't recommend it. He's too fragile. The screen cracked after 3 months of normal home use. I'm not a street fighter. The device has never been dropped. There was no injury. However, screen cracks are not covered by the warranty. Thus, a repair by Samsung costs $365. The screen and bezel are designed to be very thin. It exhibits little flexing with regular use. The tension created by the regular opening and closing of the screen overwhelms the design. (There aren't any protective cases available for this model that give it more rigidity or protection.) So either get an extended warranty that covers screen damage, or forget it.
