If you are reading this then you MUST buy this camera!

I'm still in love! I've had this camera for almost 2 weeks now and I'm very happy with it. Originally I wanted to buy an inexpensive DSLR to start photography, but money is tight at the moment so that wasn't an option. I still needed a new camera for the upcoming Otakon and after reading countless reviews I decided this would be my best option in my price range. Firstly, anyone who says they don't like the camera has obviously never known it. with all settings and functions of this camera. It has settings for daylight, indoor light, moonlight, and all types of light in between; Macro, portrait and landscape settings for the best clarity for the distance you are shooting from; color settings including vivid, red, green, or blue; You can adjust the flash and shutter speed depending on the shot. It really has all the bells and whistles you could want in a point and shoot camera. In automatic mode, it decides for you which settings to use based on your environment. While it does a pretty good job in auto mode, you'll never get the full experience and miss out on plenty of great photoshoots. If you don't like the result of your photos, you're either looking for a professional camera or you're just not using it properly. Don't let that put you off though; I'm technologically behind the times and was able to learn everything about this camera with just a few applications (I never cracked the manual if it even came with it). Learn to use this camera and you will never stop using it. My last camera was a 12 megapixel camera that I bought a few years ago. The transition from this to this 20-megapixel camera is mind-blowing. My old camera could never have captured such clarity and brightness as this. I can't stop recommending it to people. The macro feature lets you capture photos with amazing detail, even when something is close enough to actually touch the lens. On the other hand, the 40x zoom is better than I could have imagined (I'm attaching a photo of my friend on a huge rock near the waterfall so you can see how much detail you can get with the 40x zoom can capture). . Please note that in auto mode and at high magnification, the camera has trouble stabilizing the frame. If you plan on shooting a lot from afar, I recommend getting a tripod. I had so much fun learning to use this camera that I can't wait to see how good my photos turn out with Otakon. One of my favorite things about this camera is that it turns on instantly. If you need to take a camera and take a picture very quickly, you can do this. Settings also load instantly, so it only takes a few seconds to have your camera perfectly set up and ready to shoot wherever you are. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to try night shots yet and having seen pictures of the moon taken by others I'm really excited to try the feature. I haven't checked out the camcorder option either and plan to investigate. As for the physical camera itself, I like its design and the way it feels in hand. It has a perfect grip so it doesn't look like it could fall out of your hand (I was always afraid of dropping my old cameras because they're too slippery). It comes with a lens cap so you'll feel like a real photographer when you pull it out, and the flash pops out with little effort. I feel like my money shouldn't be able to buy me such a solid, well-made camera (especially including the memory card that came with it). do yourself a favor Buy this camera. Go out with it a few times and play around with the settings until you know what you're doing. If needed, search the web for tutorials (I think). When you know what this camera can do with the right settings, you'll wonder why you haven't bought one of these before. Trust me, I'm kicking myself for not updating so many years ago. I feel like I missed out on a lot of great shots (especially with Otakon) simply because I didn't think I could afford a camera of this quality. Keep in mind that I've only had the camera for 2 weeks and haven't had many opportunities to get it out yet, so I don't have many photos to share yet. But given the few shots I've taken, I hope you can see how beautifully this camera captures memories. The attached images show: different shutter speed settings (waterfall), 40x zoom, macro (hermit crabs) and shades of green in daylight (bridge). how well the flash illuminated the subject in a very dark room Bee collecting pollen - Excellent macro detail, UNFORTUNATELY you can see the "ghost bee"; The slower shutter speed couldn't fully capture the second bee as it flew out of the flower. But man, look at the details of this pollen! Even the ghost bee is captured by the pollen in great detail! Left house. While there was enough daylight to take pictures without a flash, the flash used in such a wide, open area with no direct subject gave the picture a great "ghost" feel. and I was able to capture more detail with the flash than without. Rock - even with conflicting light sources (shadows and bright sunlight) I can still get great pictures most of the time. Cat - Macro shows amazing details of the eyes and individual hairs. Many Thanks. for reading, have fun with the camera! :) UPDATE: I'm still in love with this camera. Unfortunately, the slow shutter speed caused some issues at times, but I don't find it any slower than any other point and shoot camera I've used, so I don't necessarily see it as a negative, just an unfortunate compromise when buying a basic camera cameras. This is great for portraits and I love finding things for macro shots! With this camera I feel like a real photographer and maybe one day I can buy a professional camera. I also realized how much I love taking pictures for my Revain reviews with this thing. They all look amazing and this camera makes it a lot easier for me to capture the quality of the products I'm buying (especially useful when I'm buying a bad product and want to warn people). I haven't taken that thing out all day. yet, but when I take it out I'm constantly turning it on and off to conserve battery just in case. It hasn't died on me while I've been away (somehow the constant turning on and off doesn't seem to drain the battery at all, unlike most cameras). I'm shocked at how long this battery can last when capturing such detailed, vibrant footage. I'm uploading a few more photos to give an even better idea of the camera's capabilities.
