I've been a fan of the company for a while, and I switch out my phone every two years. I treat smartphones with extreme care and scrupulousness; after two years of continuous usage, I often donate prior models in perfect condition and with the whole set. Yet there was a severe irritation the other day. I had to leave the house right away, so instead of putting my phone in my pocket as usual, I threw it into my bag. The screen had a very long, deep scratch when I took it out, which is really unpleasant, especially in the daylight. I feel a little upset. It is impossible to locate the original display (if you know where it is, please let us know in the comments), and even if it were, it would be exceedingly challenging to restore the original sealant. It was later discovered that the damage was brought on by a ballpoint pen that was left open in the same container. And the only thing that irritates me more than that is how outright Apple lies about the durability of their new displays.
