Bought for my 1 bedroom apartment. I despise dishes. Not to mention the "waste" of liters and liters of water. I keep seeing people asking if this unit has a HEATING ELEMENT. The manual says "don't touch the heating element" and there are descriptions for each cycle and some of them have different temperatures in degrees Celsius. A reasonable person would assume that there really is some kind of heating element in there. Not sure why they don't sell this, maybe it's the industry standard, not sure. My cheap apartment faucet is so picky about the water temperature that it either burns or freezes, so I just leave it in the middle when I start the washing machine. This thing works very well as far as I understand! There was no way I could make my dishes look and feel this clean, not even a chance. Save yourself the headache and buy a powder or gel instead of capsules. My first normal cycle and the capsule was still at the bottom of the washing machine facing me without disintegrating. It's good that I bought a pack of 100 of these things, right. So I just cut them open and put the powder in the valve and I do it like this, it works fine. The noise level is surprisingly quiet. It's noisy at certain times, maybe half a minute when the pump makes noise, and also when water is splashing into the sink. By "noise" I don't mean a water or laundry cycle, but a strong bass vibration; As I said, I'm pretty sure it's coming from the water pump. I just wanted to mention this in case someone thinks there is something wrong with their device, but it is not. the installation was very easy for me, just screw it on and use the quick connector, pretty simple. Also, this is NOT a big basket in my opinion. Someone said they can wash all the dishes and still have room, I can't believe it. However, if you generally have smaller plates and cups and the like, you're better off, so maybe that's true. I will be buying a whole new set of cymbals soon, size in mind. Also, don't worry about the little "shelves" that your coffee mugs sit on. Must be some tiny cappuccino cups again, they're not that big inside lol. When I'm done, I drain as much as I can out of the pipes, wrap it around the outside like a hose, move my washing machine forward a little, and put it behind it. Tadaa! Overall this dishwasher is great and my swearing has decreased significantly since dinner :) **PS. If anyone can explain to me how this thing actually holds water in the pressure hoses but doesn't have to dump it every 10 seconds let me know! I'm 100% sure this thing saves a lot of water because you have to leave the faucet running the entire time you use it and the water only comes out a couple of times. So obviously it's not constant water use haha. Just wondering how it works, thanks!
