Review on 💽 Transcend TS512GSSD370: 512GB MLC SATA III 6Gb/s 2.5-Inch Internal SSD for Enhanced Performance by Eric Trask

TL;DR: Hard disk failed after 7 months. Received a replacement under warranty and then after 7 months the replacement had failed. When I first received this CD everything was great. My laptop was much faster than it was before I switched to SSD and I will never go back to hard drives! were too thick for the cramped interior of my laptop, but I was able to easily install everything using the screws from my old drive. Unfortunately, the story doesn't end here. After about 7 months of use, the drive just stopped working. One day my computer just gave a blue screen and refused to boot. After a little investigation, I discovered that my hard drive had failed. Luckily I had backups and the drive was still under warranty so I just sent it in for a replacement. After being stuck with my old slow hard drive for about 3 weeks, I finally got a new hard drive from the manufacturer. I installed it and everything worked fine again. until another 7 months passed and the drive failed again. For now I think I'll buy another drive instead. If my hard drive fails every 7 months, I don't want to deal with it.
