I had an adapter for Dynex cassettes up to the Monster brand. It had amazing sound quality (despite the cheap price and inferior materials), but it clicked and clicked something awful. Then I broke the jack while listening to CCR while on the corner. The equalizer on my iPod was set to Latin (like Latin, not Ricky Martin). I first found the sound quality on the Monster adapter to be pretty terrible. HOWEVER it would get four stars from me in a heartbeat because it looks good, feels like a quality unit, gets the job done and is completely silent in a cassette player. Then I thought of checking the equalizer to get rid of that dull sound quality. I endured it. I set the EQ to flat and BLAM-OH! Problem fixed immediately. This product got five stars from me because it looks good, weighs enough to make me feel like it's worth the price, runs quietly and allows me to play Creedence again. ----- UPDATE 3/26/15-- --- Still good value and good looking with good sound quality. However, mine has stopped working and I'm not sure if it's the machine itself or my actual cassette player. My machine alternates between side A and side B and then tells me "Tape Error". I can also hear the music coming through side A. I've scoured the internet for a solution to this problem, tried removing parts and changing the side the cable comes from and all that. Nothing. Anyway, it was amazing while it lasted which is why I got 3 stars. I will change that assessment when I find out
