The best thing about DDM for me personally as an engineer was that it had versioning in place which allows us to keep track if changes were made or not. It also has many features like change tracking etc., but I would say those are more useful when working with larger groups especially from different locations around globe rather than just one person who works alone at home only! Sometimes we need some help regarding customizing new templates so this could be beneficial too since there's no support team available 24/7 even though they have live chat option now you can't really rely upon their responses during peak business hours. We use Ddm mainly because its compatible across multiple platforms i.e Windows & Mac OS X both. Also our clients get notified whenever someone makes any modification while editing CAD files through cloud storage system called Asana. This helps them understand what needs attention before going ahead without asking questions first. And yes sometimes having such notifications might.
