I'm not tall but pretty stocky, not overweight, more like thick with a bit of muscle. I usually wear a medium jacket, comfortable with an athletic fit Large t shirt. I ordered a medium here and it fits like a small. I can wear it, but I can't move in it. Too tight in the chest and shoulders. Arm length is fine, just too tight. It's not very thick, but probably good for keeping out the wind. You would definitely need base layers if you're planning on wearing it in the cold weather, and that's not gonna happen if you don't order the right size. So far, I like the jacket, and it's features, just need to order a larger size and return this one. Speaking of returns and sizing, make sure you order the right size the first time, as they charge you for shipping your return. Also, not sure what shipping company they used. It wasn't the standard revain two day shipping. Took longer to get here and when they did send, it went to a completely wrong building on the other side of the community. I don't really trust whoever they used. If it wasn't for a kind neighbor taking the time to walk all the way over to this building I would've never received it.
