Electric shock from any light source

After months of shock I finally decided to sit down and write a review and submit a ticket to customer service. I like lights, but if I touch the bottom glass or the edge where glass meets metal AND water, I get a nasty electric shock. My socket has 3 pins and I have confirmed with a tester that the ground is fine. I suspect this is a design flaw and I don't necessarily want them back. I want an answer how to solve this problem. I'm willing to work with you.
