Review on Housweety Hand-Operated Yarn/Fiber/Wool/String Ball Winder: Simplify Your Crafting Process! by Kelsey Brown

Does what it's supposed to do

I've never used a twine winder but this one seems to do the job well. I'm sure there are prettier, stronger and bigger roles out there, but this one does everything I need. I use a lot of large skeins (7-8 oz) but I only ever leave them in skeins unless they are small enough to tangle. This yarn wrap is good for small scraps (half a skein or less) and yarn in skeins. Tip: If you buy a lot of yarn that comes in skeins, buy Swift yarn to use with that yarn. This saves you a lot of time and energy. Anyway, this curler holds up very well on my desk. I couldn't get the feeder to get up on its own, but I just use the hand that isn't turning the crank to hold it while I wind it. When I first received the winder it came with surprisingly clear instructions and wasn't difficult to assemble at all. I look forward to wrapping many more cakes with this wrapping machine! Now someone just has to invent an automatic yarn unraveler.
