The cable works well and the brightness is acceptable for the plastic gourds inside. I am annoyed that the cable ends in a USB plug and the USB converter is not included. It's a shitty thing considering this line isn't THAT cheap. The main reason I'm sending them back is that after turning off the row there is no memory left. If you turn the light on on a timer or cycle it on and off, when you turn it on again the cord will always go into "off" mode and you have to go to the USB port and press the button until you call out the one you want setting on to make it work. Any good set of strings will have non-volatile memory so it's always on for the program you need each day.
