Zojirushi products are generally excellent

Zojirushi products are excellent overall. Others have covered pretty much everything, so I'm just offering my point of view on a few issues that haven't been discussed in detail. If you're on the borderline between this model and the smaller PBC10, the extra compartment alone is worth the extra expense. Assuming the pan lasts as long as the pan (which is probably true), the pan will last twice as long. Regardless of the cost, the 12-inch size of this model is the most useful and versatile pan size. I cooked the paella in a smaller pot and it was enough for 3-4 reasonably sized portions. So the size is perfect for 3-4 people or two people with leftovers. Some people say the device is huge and heavy, well its diameter is 15 inches (17 inches if you include the handles). It fits on the counter easily, I mean 15 inches is 15 inches, how much bigger is it than what you meant? Some question the safety of the non-stick coating, I find it less of a concern with an electric skillet because the temperature is better controlled, so if you use it properly (don't leave the skillet on high heat without food), it's unlikely that 500 degrees are exceeded. What is the safe temperature for a nonstick coating? Be careful with non-stick coating. Wash it properly and patiently, using soft cooking tools. It is of good quality but still needs proper care.
