Review on Cleret Shower Squeegee Wiping Cleaning by Jessica Rae

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Ideal for wiping water

I used to have a silicone squeegee that I used in a tiled shower but it is outdated and the silicone strips are peeling off. I originally used this scraper to wipe water off my car after a wash to make it easier to towel dry. I couldn't find a replacement scraper that I liked in stores. I didn't want a mop with a short blade or with a blade barely wider than the frame that holds it. I didn't want to scratch the walls in the shower. I chose the burgundy scraper because it looked pretty good and got good reviews. I bought one for each bathroom because I knew I could get replacement blades if I liked them. The mop does a great job mopping the water off my tiled bathroom shower as well as my acrylic shower stall. I don't have shower doors so I don't know how it works on glass. I like the 12" double-edged blade. I haven't had the problems that I read about in the one star reviews. The scraper doesn't squeak with use. The bungs are securely fastened and hold the blade in place so it doesn't twist I haven't found mold between the blades, but I shake the mop after use to get rid of excess water and run a cotton swab between the blades.I agree that a wall mop holder is useless.I'd rather have a mop handle with one End cap with a hole and a rope going through it so I can hang the mop over the shower handle or on an S hook over the towel The only other downside to this product is that I can't find replacement blades on Amazon but they can must obtain via cleret.com.
