Velcro seems to be the solution to the problem of routing cables along the baseboard. But these clips lose their grip over time and the cable falls off. So I figured clamps with a little nail would probably do the job better. When I was considering using these clips I figured I'd attach them to the top of the baseboard. But it's a big task. It's much easier to nail the brackets to the drywall. I shouldn't have worried that the nails would pull out easily, but that didn't happen - the drywall holds the staples perfectly. By the way, this package is a homeowner's lifetime supply.
