Review on New Balance Running Rainbow Toddler Sports & Fitness and Running by Alex Taylor

The school told my new preschooler, who lives in sneakers and flip flops because he says his feet hurt all the time, that he has to wear strappy tennis shoes to gym class. So what was I up to!?! I knew that New Balance made shoes for adults in wide, extra wide and bigger, so I decided to start with that. and I'm lucky! Finally my toddler has a pair of traditional tennis shoes that he says fit his feet well. Based on a not so scientific "mother test" I think he has more room in his toe box but I also increased the size by 1 because it's summer and he's still 2 months away from school. Also, I thought he could just wear thick socks with them if they were too big for him. Conclusion: New Balance shoes are durable and comfortable. But most importantly - I needed a very wide pair of velcro tennis shoes that my son would actually wear and this is the only brand I could find that could supply them for me - it was just a bonus that they were that good look. and well made from a reliable brand. I am very happy! (My son is 5.5 and has a 7 inch foot and I bought the 12.5 extra wide. I think wide would probably fit too, but I'm so tired of him complaining - he says even that socks are tight and it bothers me - I just bought the widest version available). And I am very happy with this purchase!
